The car
The car is an early version (1955-1957) of the Mercedes 190 SL - W 121 BII and has been manufactured in Germany in April 1956. It was delivered to Belgium the same month. Based on a complete history and the FIVA Pass the car went from Belgium to Luxembourg and finally to Germany.
Up to 1956 serial number 6502679 the car was build with the small tail lights which are easy to recognize.
Mercedes 190 SL
The 190 SL or W 121 BII was delivered in three versions:
190 SL Roadster with softtop, 121.042
190 SL Coupé with hardtop, 121.040 and
190 SL-R race version.
